Am I doing it wrong? A bunch of EHOS at the same time? Going to the future BEFORE the past? What does all the murkiness mean?
From a client: “So I’ve let it sink in a couple days and I’m still just coming up with “wtf was that about”? I am curious what your take is. Is it weird to go into the future like that? Was it out of fear of what I’d find in the past? Did we really turn a whole bunch of trauma bubbles into golden ones in one fell swoop?
It didn’t feel as intense as the first one and I don’t feel that different yet… I do get that it may be subtle or take a while to sink in…but I feel like I need to ask – did I do something wrong? Even though much of it felt quite unreal at the time, I am experiencing the feeling of it being quite real now when I look back on it. Also from a student point of view am wondering what that “means” (maybe not even the right question) when it gets murky/takes an odd turn like it was a couple times. Thanks, W”
The answer: “It is not weird to go into the future, it’s just usually AFTER we do work in the past. But in your case, you have fear in resolving the past. Both in “what if this doesn’t work” and “who the eff will I be if this changes” Part of you holds onto “the complainer” – it keeps you safe, keeps you vigilant, protects you (whether you like it or not LOL) So going into the future was the best way to reassure you (you being conscious, subconscious, energetically and spiritually.) This did not make sense to me at first (as usual.) I just do what I’m told and it almost always makes sense later.
I don’t teach taking care of groups of ECHOs in the beginner’s class. It works about 80% of the time on all the ECHOS, but even when it doesn’t work on all of them completely, it “cuts the tops off” which means the intensity points in each trauma capsule is lowered – allowing us to go in and take care of the remaining issues easier. It ALWAYS lowers resistance… and that is important in your case.
Murky is always resistance and protection. When a child or puppy is scared, you don’t scream at it, you give it multiple reasons to trust you – and you simply give him/her time.
Your first session was a specific event – one trauma capsule – AND the first time you ever were able to love your younger self so it made an impact. The work we are doing now is subtle, especially with all your protective layers. You’ve had your entire life building this stuff. Give yourself time. That’s why I made sure you are doing at least 6 sessions.
You are not doing anything wrong.”
The client: “Thank you for reply…it makes much more sense now. I did find my mind going to a habitual “not good enough” place the other night, and then it just wasn’t there anymore…the thought just kinda dropped. 🙂 It has been interesting to see just how protected I’ve been – I mean I’ve known, but now I’m knowing it in another way. I’m looking forward to seeing how I am over the coming days.
I also wanted to tell you that I was unable to make it past more than around 15 minutes of the Matrix Reimprinting webinar that dealt with longtime chronic illness. I got so triggered. I’ll return to it when I feel ready.”
Answer: “Glad you will be observing your reactions. This makes the subtle changes more obvious and will help ease the resistance even more. “Oh look, that’s different and I’m still safe… great” And I really am glad that you are keeping yourself safe and stopped listening. You are right to come back to it later – and listen to bits at a time while tapping. I would just suggest to save that one for last after we’ve worked more. Much Support, Karin”
