Yes, really.
I was in Brazil teaching Level 2 and someone says, “Does EFT work with plants?” So I told this true story:
I had an intern who didn’t believe AT ALL in this tapping crap. After working with me she finally believed – sort of. One day she says to me (because I have A LOT of plants) “I kill plants but I would still like one that could live despite it all.” I gave her a plant. The plant immediately started dying. She said, “I told you so.” I said, “Did you tap for it?” She said, “YOU’VE GOT TO KIDDING ME?!” I said, “Stand in front of the plant and tap and talk to it. Tell it, ‘I kill plants and don’t want to kill plants and would like you to live and I don’t know how and can you please tell me how much water and where you like to be in the house and I feel crazy talking to a plant but I am willing to do anything to try to get you to live and I really mean it and I love you but I just suck at this and I need help because I believe I’m at fault that you’re dying and blah blah…” And she says, “Really?!” I said, “What do you have to loose?”
2 weeks later I asked her about the plant. She gave me a weird look and shook her head. I said, “What?” And she looks down at the floor and says, “I didn’t want to tell you because I don’t want to admit that it worked.” Me, “Yeah?” Her, “Yeah. And it’s starting to grow all these shoots for babies in like less than 2 weeks…god” Me, “hehehehehe…”
Fast forward about 5 years later and I just got this email from her with the picture above: I was watering plants the other day when the thought popped into my head that you might like to know that this is the spider plant you gave me ages ago… I think 4 or 5 years ago now? Anyway – it has somehow survived all my moves, being out of the country, my mother and her black thumb, every cat I’ve ever had rolling in it, eating it, and knocking it over, and now the kids constantly touching it and picking at the babies. Lol 🙂

Long story short:
man works for government reading lie detector tests for 25 years
man’s wife gave him plants for his office
man gets in the habit of putting the clips he uses on the subjects on the plant’s leaves when done – close by and convenient.
one day man forgets to turn off lie detector machine
this day the man looks up and thinks “I need to water that plant”
lie detector machine starts moving and man looks at it the waves on the machine and it means “happiness” in lie detector wave language
man simply does not believe it and starts testing (I mean this is his LIFE for goodness sake – reading lie detector waves for court cases and such)
man ends up leaving the government to study all this… plants are alive…
Yes, EFT works with plants.
